PRIMARY CREATIVE BALLET / PRIMARY PRE-BALLET / BALLET BASICS

These classes are for independent young dancers. The classes focus on teaching the fundamentals of dance, developing spatial awareness and classical music appreciation, and introducing elementary ballet steps and vocabulary. Parents, caretakers, and guardians, please stay on the premises. The faculty and staff cannot assist your younger dancer with restroom visits. 

Primary dancers progress when they are at the appropriate level. Age requirements referenced begin 2023.

4:00-4:45 pm Primary Creative Ballet age 4 -5 / must be age four by October 31 - level is appropriate for older 3’s

  • THURSDAY

    4:00-4:45 pm Primary Creative Ballet age 3 -4 / must be age three by August 31

  • THURSDAY

    4:45-5:30 pm Primary Pre-Ballet age 5+ / must be age five by August 31

  • SATURDAY

    9:45 am -10:30 am Primary Pre Ballet age 3 -4 / must be age three by August 31

  • SATURDAY

    10:30 am -11:15 am Ballet Basics 6+ / must be age six by August 31

YOUTH CLASSES: Classes described as placement consider ability and age

BALLET BASICS - This is an intro class open to all beginners ages 6+

BEGINNER BALLET - For the beginner student ready to further explore ballet techniques - age levels may overlap depending on technical ability

BALLET lA - These classes are by placement only for students wanting a more serious approach to technical training. Students are encouraged to take two classes weekly

BALLET A PROGRAM - These classes are by placement only for students serious about ballet training. Students are encouraged to take two classes weekly

Students working toward pointe must take a minimum of two classes weekly

BALLET B PROGRAM - These classes are by placement only for students serious about ballet training. Students must take two classes per week

Contemporary / Modern

These classes are influenced by the Horton Technique

BEGINNER MODERN JAZZ | CONTEMPORARY - 8+

MODERN JAZZ | CONTEMPORARY - At least 2 years of dance experience age 12+

POINTE CLASSES

The instructor will determine if you are ready for pointe. Students must show proper alignment and turnout in ballet class. Also considered are Range of motion and core strength.

PRE POINTE | BEGINNER POINTE - By placement. Minimum of two ballet classes per week required

POINTE 1  By placement. One year previous pointe required. Minimum of two ballet classes per week required 

  •  Ballet A & B - PRE POINTE | BEGINNER POINTE 

  •  Ballet B only or by permission - POINTE 1

  • BALLET 1A students taking two classes each week may take Pre/Beginner Pointe by invitation

The tuition for the three classes and unlimited class options include a multiple-class discount
