Adult Class Descriptions

Absolute Beginner 

No previous ballet experience needed for this introduction to ballet technique. Exercises are done with both hands on barre.  Center floor work will have you dancing!

Slow Beginner 

For the student familiar with basic ballet vocabulary. Most of this class is done with both hands on the barre and we work on finding center , balances and breaking down basic linking steps. Turns are introduced in this class.

Beginner 

For the adult student with some ballet knowledge. This barre is based on strength building exercises designed to get you on your leg. Center work include simple adagio and turn practices. Exercises are done both facing the barre and with one hand on the barre.

Beginner ll 

For the student familiar with ballet vocabulary and comfortable working with one hand on the barre. Barre work, turn practices, center and across the floor combinations. 

Advanced Beginner

These well constructed classes in the style of Vaganova includes a challenging barre with a focus on correct placement  and strength building. Some dance experience is required. Adult students should be familiar with ballet vocabulary, comfortable executing center work, across the floor combinations, turns, adagio and allegro steps. 


Ballet Workout

Ballet Workout is a ballet inspired barre workout incorporating light weights and pilates core work. Good for all levels of fitness.
