  • Any class with only one student in attendance will be considered private and will be 45 minutes to one hour

THERE IS NO FORMAL DRESS CODE FOR ADULTS | PROPER FOOTWEAR IS REQUIRED WE SUGGEST THE FOLLOWING

 

Women: Leotard & tights or unitard, chiffon skirt if desired

 

Men: Leotard or tee shirt & tights or unitard

 

Both: Leg warmers, thin nylon sweats, warm-up pants or shorts are acceptable layering

CLASS LEVELS

ABSOLUTE  BEGINNER

Little or no dance experience required 

 

SLOW BEGINNER

Some knowledge of ballet vocabulary required. Breaking down of transition steps and turns covered in every class

BEGINNER

Knowledge of ballet vocabulary required. For the student with some ballet training, center, across the floor and turn practices are covered in every class 

 

BEGINNER ll 

Knowledge of ballet vocabulary required. Adagio, linking steps across the floor, basic jumps and pirouette practice 

 

ADVANCED BEGINNER

Ability to link steps across the floor and execute turn and jump practices. For the adult with at least two years plus prior ballet who has a clear understanding of ballet terminology

BALLET WORKOUT

For all levels of fitness. A low impact cardio and strengthening workout incorporating basic ballet exercises at the barre, light weights and core work, finish the class with a simple ballet-inspired stretch/simple combination, no ballet experience required
