ESTELLE BOTELLA Estelle is from Paris, France and trained at the Nutmeg Conservatory for the Arts where she graduated in 2011. She spent summers training at Boston Ballet School, Colorado Ballet Academy, and the Royal Ballet School. She went on to dance as a trainee with American Repertory Ballet for two years. She joined Connecticut Ballet in 2013 where she was featured as Clara in their Nutcracker alongside Julie Kent and Alexander Hammoudi and spent a year with Manassas Ballet Theatre. In 2015, Estelle moved to Germany to dance with JSLN Dance Company where she spent two years touring Europe performing numerous works of classical and neoclassical ballet. In September 2017, Estelle was featured on French national television in the TV show “Prodigies” on France2 where she performed with the Winter Palace Saint Petersburg Ballet. Recently, Estelle has been performing with Connecticut Ballet, Thomas Ortiz Dance, Ballet for Young Audiences, Lydia Johnson Dance and the American Ballet Theatre. She is very excited to be part of Jersey City Ballet.

SHANNON GRANT Shannon is a NYC based freelance ballet dancer. She began training at age 4 by master teachers of the Russian Kirov Ballet. She has performed professionally in many soloist and principal roles both internationally and throughout the United States. Shannon has studied and performed with the Joffrey Ballet, Scottish American Ballet, Salzburg Ballet (Austria), Colorado Ballet, and with Mikhail Korogodsky at the International Vaganova Festival. Some of her most influential teachers include Marat Daukayev, Hasmik Amirian and David Howard. The Los Angeles Weekly has said Shannon, "performs with athletic gusto" and the LA Downtown News said she, "impressively performs”. Her musicality and quest for excellence in technique are evident in her dancing and have been gained through extensive performing and teaching experience. Shannon has earned the prestigious certification as an ABT National Training Curriculum certified teacher in Pre-Primary through Level 5.  Shannon has a degree in business and is a graduate of Columbia University. SIMON KASZANTSEV Simon was born in Russia and attended the famous Bolshoi Ballet Academy in Moscow, where he successfully completed his dance training in 8 years. Upon graduation, he joined the Stanislavsky Ballet, one of Moscow's leading companies. He toured internationally with that troupe, dancing solo roles in such classics as Giselle, Swan Lake, La Esmeralda, Le Corsaire, and The Nutcracker, as well as performing prominent roles in contemporary ballets. At the same time, he attended the Bolshoi Ballet Academy College, where he earned a BA in Pedagogy and Dancing and became an assistant to the late Professor Alexander Bondarenko, who was a leading authority on ballet technique and coach to many principal dancers of the Bolshoi Theater.

BARBARA SAMILLE DE LIMA LINS Barbara was born in Brazil and she started dancing when she was 6 years old and trained at Ballet Eliana Cavalcanti for several years and also a principal dancer for 5 years. She attended summer courses with Bolshoi's teachers like Denis Nevydommy, Galina Kozlova (Ex Prima Ballerina of Bolshoi), Boris Storojkovo, Olga Dolganova, and many others. She also attended a summer course and Trainee Program at Ballet Chicago in 2013 and at Joffrey Ballet School (NYC) in 2015. Barbara participated in many Festivals around the world like France, Italy, Brazil, and Switzerland. She just graduated from her Certificate Program at Peridance Capezio Center. Since she moved to NYC she enjoyed dancing with: Connecticut Ballet Company, Arch Contemporary, Homo Veritas Dance Theatre, Albano Ballet of America, American Swiss Ballet Company, a guest at Metropolitan Ballet & Academy (in Minneapolis) and Encounters Company. Barbara has performance experience like Don Q., Le Corsaire, Paquita, The Flames of Paris, Nutcracker,  Coppelia, La Esmeralda, La Sylphide, Diana y Action, Serenade, Concerto Barroco, and many others. Barbara is very excited to join Jersey City Ballet Theater!

Kathryn Munoz  Kathryn began dancing at age 3 at Ms. Huguette's Dance Studio. At age 9, she went on to train at the New Jersey School of Ballet where she was accepted into the Junior Company at the age of 15. She performed leading roles in the Nutcracker as Arabian, Snow, and Flower. Kathryn also performed with the company in ballets such as Giselle, Sleeping Beauty, and Cinderella. She trained with George Tomal, Luba Guylaeva, and Eleanor D’Antuono. She was accepted and attended the prestigious Governor’s School of the Arts program in 2007 at TCNJ. She competed at the NJ Festival of the Arts in which her company placed the first two years in a row. She graduated in 2012 Magna Cum Laude from Seton Hall University with BSE in Elementary Education/Special Education. Kathryn founded Tanzen Dance Project in 2013 and has choreographed and set full-length ballets such as Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Elf on a Shelf, and The Nutcracker. 

FLAVIO ALBERTO VALENTINO Flavio Alberto Valentino, from Italy, started
his training at the Balletto del Sud Ballet School. He joined the Academy of Classical
Ballet Toni Candeloro, graduating ‘’Ad Honorem’’. Flavio has performed Classical Ballet repertoire in Bayadère, Nutcracker, Fairy Doll, Don Quixote, and Swan Lake. He attended Intensives with Royal Ballet School of London, Theater Basel Ballet School, Bavarian State Ballet School of Munich. Flavio joined Jersey City Ballet in 2018 and has performed as a principal dancer with Victoria Ballet Theatre and most recently as Soloist with Ajkun Ballet Theatre. LAUREL ZALESKI MANGINI Laurel is a NYC based freelance contemporary/ballet dancer. She has had the opportunity to dance all across the globe studying and performing at the Royal Danish Ballet, Jacob's Pillow, Joffrey Ballet, Ballet Adriatico (Italy) and in Finland at the Skiing on Skin Festival. In 2010 Laurel graduated with honors for excellence in dance from Tulane University; Since moving to New York Laurel has performed with Hee Ra Yoo and Dancers, Giada Farrone, Ballet Inc., The Garden State Opera, Jersey City Ballet and also served as co-artistic director of The Rogue Dancers.

DANA ZOON Dana was born and raised in New Jersey. She attended the Joffrey Ballet School Pre-Professional Ballet Trainee program and was a company member of the Joffrey Ensemble. During that time she performed as Demi-Soloist in George Balanchine's Walpurgisnacht, Mirliton and Snowflake in Gerald Arpino's The Nutcracker, and Soloist in Dwight Rhoden's Rise. Dana has also worked with companies such as TB Dance and New Chamber Ballet. Dana is very excited to be performing with Jersey City Ballet Theater! 


Anthony Bianco was born in 1993 in a small New Jersey home, raised around the sounds of music. His father, a guitar player, was his earliest musical influence and paved the way for his early musical growth. It wasn't until the age of nine when Anthony picked up the electric bass as his main instrument and started playing to the sounds of Rock and Blues and later discovering Jazz and Fusion in high school. In 2011, he started playing the upright bass right out of high school and attended New Jersey City University, where he studied with many wonderful jazz musicians such as Andy Eulau, Allen Farnham, Joel and Walt Weiskopf, and Nate Eklund. After receiving his Bachelor's degree in Jazz Bass Performance, he fulfilled a childhood dream and became a working session bass player in the greater NYC area, playing in multiple bands that cover many different styles of music from Jazz to Musical Theater and more.


Phil Chester is a professional NJ/NYC musician who has studied under the likes of Mary Karen Clardy at the University of North Texas, Al Regni of the New York Philharmonic, Dave Weschler of The Brooklyn Philharmonic, and John Moses of New York Pops. He has played with the grammy-nominated Ed Palermo Big Band, New Jersey Symphony, and Westwood Philharmonic and has also served as a woodwind player on Broadway for Phantom of the Opera, Matilda, Billy Elliot, and many others. He currently works as a staff musician and composer at Park Avenue Christian Church, New York City.


Eduardo Sinay is a percussionist from Bayonne New Jersey playing all styles of music. He received his B.M. in Music Education and Jazz Performance from the West Chester University of Pennsylvania. During that time Eduardo started a salsa band in the area and has played in many venues throughout West Chester and Philadelphia. After graduating Eduardo came back to Bayonne to teach the Marching Band at Bayonne High School, currently teaches the North Bergen Marching Band and is the music teacher at Hawkins Street School in Newark, NJ. Music has been his passion his whole life and there’s no better feeling than teaching and making music with friends.


As a freelance artist, Isaac Ezekiel performs and teaches regularly throughout the Greater New York City area. He currently endeavors as a pianist and educator in the styles of classical, jazz, contemporary, and theatre. With a degree in music education and formal/informal training from some awesome people, Isaac is musically affiliated with multiple grade schools, bands, churches, and universities throughout the NJ/NY area. In his spare time, he provides audio-visual engineering assistance for various DJ's and corporations across the Tri-State area as well. Isaac hopes to combine his passion, knowledge, and curiosity in building a life his parents would be proud of. His additional hobbies include learning everything, coffee making, computer/audio engineering, chess-playing, life admiring and long sleeps on the beach.
