A Dance Instructor and Choreographer Neil has been performing and teaching dance and fitness in the NJ/NY area since 1992. Neil's love for dance & choreography are reflected in his popular Funk Hip-Hop classes and Sweet 16/Cotillion Ballroom projects taught through out the tri state area. He has worked with major music groups and choreographed “You can’t stop the music” for the Village People and worked with recording artists Ana DeSilver, Astro, Xirena & Doble Impacto, . He was a featured dancer with the Philippine Super Star Nora Aunor. Neil started Pure Diversity Performing Arts Ensemble Keep On Dancing USA. He was an actor, dancer and choreographer on the following movies: The Forgotten Savior, Loose Women with Charlie Sheen, Mister Bird, Taxi Bhaya, Good Day New York (NBC), Regis & Kathie Lee and Dance Vista. He belted his voice in the off Broadway Musical production of A Chorus Line in the role of Mike and as Benjamin in Joseph and His Technicolor Dreamcoat.Teaching credits include, faculty member, intensive study group program Ms. Huguette’s Broadway Dance and Theatrical studios Bayonne, NJ. His philosophy in teaching is showing his students the passion in dance + fun = feeling great inside that's what counts!
Director of Jersey City Ballet has been a dance instructor in the NJ/NY area for over twenty years. She studied Ballet, Jazz and Modern extensively in NYC at the New Dance Group, Cecchetti School of Ballet, Alvin Ailey School, City Center, Broadway Dance Center and DNA with some of the greatest teachers in the dance community including Frank Pietri, Stephen Harding, Phil Black, Frank Hatchett, Finis Jhung and Martha Chapman. She has been a faculty member and repertory instructor for youth and adult programs throughout the tristate area and was a principle member of a New Jersey based modern dance ensemble. She has performed at New York University, Theatre In Action, New Dance Group, Fiorella H.Laguardia High School, Montclair State University, Englewood Performing Arts Center. She has choreographed numerous student performances including Disney World Orlando and London 2012 Olympics. Judith received her Simonson Teaching Certification under the direction of Lynn Simonson NYC, Pilates certification from the Physical Mind Institute, NYC and completed the Finis Jhung Method of Ballet Fundementals Teacher Training Workshop 2014 and 2015 NYC. Currently she coordinates the dance elective program at St Dominic's Academy and teaches creative dance for the Embankment School both in Jersey City. She is also the director Jersey City Ballet Theater a registered non profit performing arts organization
Laurel is a NYC based freelance contemporary/ballet dancer. She has had the opportunity to dance all across the globe studying and performing at the Royal Danish Ballet, Jacob's Pillow, Joffrey Ballet, Ballet Adriatico (Italy) and in Finland at the Skiing on Skin Festival. Some of her most influential teachers include: Anna Marie Holmes, Elenor D’Antuano, Trinette Singleton, Barbara LeGault, Amy Beatty, Jeffrey Gunshol, Alice Pascal-Escher and Barbara Haley. In 2010 Laurel graduated with honors for excellence in dance from Tulane Univeristy, where her choreography was presented at the American College Dance Festival (south). Since moving to New York Laurel has performed with Hee Ra Yoo and Dancers, Giada Farrone, The Kennedy Dancers, Ballet Inc., The Garden State Opera, Jersey City Ballet and also served as co-artistic director of The Rogue Dancers. She also is a passionate teacher who has recently has instructed at The Boys and Girls Club of America, St. Dominic's Academy, P.S. 25, The Kennedy Dancers, FlorYoga and worked administratively for Peridance Capezio Center.
TAYLOR GOOD is a dance and fitness instructor with a BFA from Townson University. Taylor studied Ballet, Pointe and Modern at University of the Arts, Joffrey Ballet School NYC and participated in Complexions Contemporary Ballet Intensive training with Dwight Rhoden an Desmond Richardson.
SHANNON GRANT has performed throughout the United States and internationally, in Canada and Europe, with companies including Ballet de Printemps, City Ballet of San Diego, Ballet New England, Media City Ballet, BalaSole, Ballet Magique and others, and she has worked with choreographers including David Taylor, Jamie Benson and Jelena Bagaric-Mandic. Shannon trained with Marat Daukayev, Hasmik Amirian, Kiril Matveev, She graduated from Columbia University with a Bachelor’s in American Studies and also holds an Associates with Honors degree in Business Management. Shannon is an ABT® Certified Teacher, who has successfully completed the ABT® Teacher Training Intensive in Pre-Primary through Level 3 of the ABT® National Training Curriculum.
ERIKA KELLER Erika Keller began her ballet training in Germany as a part of the Royal Academy of Dance as as a scholarship student in Neumark and Nuremberg. Returning to the U.S. she continued her training in the RAD Syllabus at the Academy of Dance Arts under Jennifer Church and as well as at the Pittsburgh Youth Ballet, Springs City Ballet and the Colorado Academy of Ballet.
J JOSEPH BURK
A dance instructor in ballet, jazz and creative movement, she has over 20 years of professional experience. She trained at George Balanchine’s School of American Ballet in New York City and performed children’s parts in the New York City Ballet’s version of the Nutcracker, Coppelia, Harlequinade, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Don Quixote, and Circus Polka. She had additional ballet training at Darvash School of Ballet and Jan Miller at Ballet Arts. Her jazz training was with Phil Black, Eddie Wright and Michael Owens in NYC. Her performance credits also include: Bob Fosse’s Dancin’, The National tour of Carousel and Lee Theodore’s The American Dance Machine. As a principal ballet dancer she has also performed with Dance Theater in Westchester, New Jersey City Bicoastal Dance Theatre, NY Dance Theatre and Ballet for Young Audiences. Julie has initiated several successful ongoing after - school dance programs in Jersey City elementary schools and at St. Peter’s University.
